Outdoor + Snow Show Goes Virtual for 2021

Annual Winter Show shifts from in-person event to a full online experience.

Outdoor + Snow Show Goes Virtual for 2021

The Outdoor + Snow Show, originally scheduled as an in-person event Jan. 27-29, 2021, is now set to be an online event, Outdoor Retailer Winter Online.

The shift from the Colorado Convention Center to virtual space is a result of ongoing challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic, including current government restrictions and limitations on large gatherings and a need to keep public health and safety a priority.

“We learned a lot through our first digital show this summer,” says Marisa Nicholson, senior vice president and show director in reference to Outdoor Retailer cancelling the in-person Summer Market show earlier this spring for the same reasons. “We are taking that knowledge to bring you an enhanced digital marketplace, networking hub and education center.”

Outdoor Retailer Winter Online will become available this winter and will allow users to:

·       Discover new brands, products, contacts and leads

·       Connect to brands, reps, retailers, buyers, designers, media, creators and more to buy/sell, build relationships and invest for the future

·       Engage with the whole of the community through live video, one-on-one chats and an expanded education schedule — all one click away

The winter show will be powered by artificial intelligence, inferring likes and dislikes, suggesting matches, using data to drive leads and creating unique experiences for each exhibitor and attendee.

“As much as our industry is driven by interactive and outside experiences, the virtual space is now guiding many ways we engage,” Nicholson says. “We remain committed to supporting you throughout this evolution, and we are building the digital environment to help you achieve stability and success, along with stimulating growth for our industry.”

Outdoor Retailer Winter Online will be offering the marketplace beyond the traditional show timeframe allowing users access to the marketplace for the entire winter buying season.
